Privacy

Numen's approach to privacy is simple: we keep what is yours, we show it to you, and we use it for nothing else.
1. The data we collect
Your email address, your date of birth (only to verify that you are 18+) and the fictional data of the life you build in the app: name, city, wealth, characters, messages, transactions.
2. We do not touch your contacts
Numen does not access your phone's contacts, call history or messages. The characters are not derived from real people.
3. Your photos
Photos you upload to the album are only stored and shown to you. They are not analyzed, no faces are extracted from them, they are never sent to any AI model or third party, they are not linked to characters, and they are not used to generate other images.
4. Artificial intelligence
Character messages are generated with a language model. Only fictional life data and message history are sent to the model; your email, your date of birth and your photos are not.
5. No ads, no data sales
Your data is not used for advertising, not sold to anyone and not shared. The only revenue model in the future is an optional subscription.
6. Usage measurement
We measure how much each app screen is used. That measurement is there to improve the product; there is no mechanism limiting time spent in Phase 0.
7. Deletion
If you want your account and all your data deleted, they are permanently deleted on request. "Reset this life" only archives.
