Numen is an experience that simulates the phone of the future you imagine. This document sets out the basic rules that apply while you use the app.
1. Age limit
Numen is only for users aged 18 and over. Your date of birth is asked at sign-up; no account is created for anyone under 18.
2. Everything is fiction
Every character, brand, bank, property and number in the app is fictional. No real person is modelled; your contacts are not accessed, and no name, number or photo is taken from them. The characters are created and named by the app.
3. Simulation stamp
Financial screens such as balances, investments and deeds, and share cards, carry a "SIMULATION · Numen" stamp that cannot be removed. These screens are not a real financial document, offer or advice, and may not be presented as one.
4. Revenue model
There are no ads in Numen and your data is not sold. The only revenue model in the future will be an optional subscription. In Phase 0 the app is free.
5. Your account and your life
An account holds a single active life. "Reset this life" archives the current life, it does not delete it; you can build a new one. If you want your account and all your data deleted, they are deleted on request.
6. Liability
Numen is a space for imagination; it does not support financial, legal or personal decisions. No number or message in the app creates any commitment in the real world.
7. Changes
This document is a Phase 0 draft. When it changes, it is announced in the app.
